Unfortunately, we couldn’t be present at the Vimeo Offline in Buenos Aires last night. But, always resourceful, Vimeo’s own Blake and Sam teamed up with Greg Henkel and Rudi Borrmann to put together this special message for the Offline guests. Blake isn’t exactly fluent in Spanish. r3mpl1t asked: I'm not going to lie; I hyperventilated for over a full minute when I found this blog. I then cried a little. It is supersaturated with awesomeness. This does not surprise me.

Two months ago, Vimeo along with Saatchi & Saatchi and Moby reached out to the Vimeo community with a unique and awesome opportunity. The task itself was simple: Take one of three new songs recorded by Moby and make a video to accompany it, interpreting the concept of “Hello, Future”. Although we expected a solid turnout, we could not have envisioned the sheer number of entries we...

Step 1: Hit record and quickly swish (tilt) the camera up. Step 2: Continue to record your beautiful clip!  Step 3: While you’re still recording quickly swish...

wreckandsalvage: emilyqualey: Per Nelson’s request, a video of launching The Black Boat. It was a perfect evening for it. Shot on iPhone, edited with Vimeo’s app. Tuneage is “What Circle Where” by Macaw from the Free Music Archive. Did an early morning dashboard check and this was in the first spot (syncronicity!).  Emily Qualey (whom I’ve never met, and only know through digital means)...

Liam Bailey’s sound is a complicated, beautiful thing. Refreshingly classic, yet undeniably contemporary, mellow yet irresistibly toe tapping. The tune is made better only by director Alexander Brown’s vision. Via The Vimeo HD Channel

Hello Vimeans, We’ve been thinking, and we all agree that it is time to take our relationship to the next level. No, we don’t want to meet your parents or go halfsies with you on a puppy. What we have in mind is way better. Picture this: Vimeo…EVERYWHERE. That’s right, Vimeo has expanded beyond your browser and can now be found in devices like TVs, set-top boxes, and...
