SXSW 2013: We went, we saw, we announced majorly cool stuff
Last week a highly trained team of Vimeo operatives, armed only with mobile phones and business cards, laid siege upon the Texas capital. There we engaged in hand-to-hand networking, performed reconnaissance at various screenings, and detonated what was perhaps the most explosive Vimeo feature in the history of online video: Vimeo On Demand!

Are you a performer, installation artist, projection mapping master, or the doer of some other form of visual art that has yet to be discovered? Send your portfolio our way!
We’re also taking recommendations from those that aren’t creators themselves, but happen to have keen pals. Make haste and show us that sweet, sweet eye candy!

A bunch of Vimeo Staffers will be running around the main streets and back alleys of Austin, Texas over the next few days, so keep an eye on the Vimeo Twitter to see where we are and what we’re up to. There are few things we love more than hanging out with our awesome community! We’re also hosting a number of Vimeotastic screenings at the SXSW Theater in the Austin Convention Center:

In addition to our curated screenings, Vimeo will be projecting a selection of sweet eye candy at 622 San Jacinto and at the corner 7th Street & Red River on March 14-17 from 8pm-2am. So if you find yourself wandering around those areas, look up!
